About Us
Document Help Center Inc. is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free and affordable notary services to the elderly, medically ill, and under served communities. Through mobile outreach, we assist with essential legal documents—wills, powers of attorney, medical directives, and release forms—offering dignity and peace of mind at life’s most critical moments. We also empower individuals through education in financial literacy, personal development, and civics, helping families build legacies and navigate life transitions with clarity and support. Whether bedside in hospitals, in-home, or at community centers, DHC meets people where they are—physically and financially. We train new mobile notaries, serve returning citizens, and uplift those too often overlooked. Every signature we witness is more than a service—it’s a mission of compassion, empowerment, and equity.
About the Mission
At Document Help Center Inc., we believe every individual deserves dignity, clarity, and protection—especially during life’s most critical moments.
We are a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free and low-cost notary services to the elderly, the medically ill, and under served communities.
Whether at hospital bedsides, senior homes, or private residences, we specialize in notarizing essential documents such as wills, power of attorney forms, health directives, and legal agreements. Our mobile notaries meet people where they are—physically and financially—removing barriers to protection and peace of mind.
Beyond notarization, our mission includes empowering communities through education, offering programs in financial literacy, civics, mental wellness, and workforce readiness. We serve not only individuals but entire families, returning citizens, and vulnerable populations with compassion, discretion, and cultural sensitivity.
We are more than a service — we are a bridge to security, legacy, and trust.
Let us help you sign with confidence.
About the Founder
For the past few years, Mr. Jamil Murphy, Founder/Executive Director of the Document Help Center, has been serving as a mobile notary, and noticed that there were members of the community who simply could not afford to pay the general market fee of $100-$125. He wanted to be able to provide services for the elderly and those who are not mobile due to medical emergency; so he developed a nonprofit to provide services on a sliding scale which also provides Financial Literacy, Personal Development Strategies and Civics Education to the community and to returning citizens [those returning from incarceration]. The Program Pillars for the Document Help Center Inc are as follows: Affordable Document Services Notary Services on Sliding Scale Personal Development Mental Wellness Education Financial Literacy Wealth Development Education Civics Education
